Tiger Translate: A night that entertained, engaged and inspired!

   Category: Uncategorized | No comments

International and local artists collaborate for an unforgettable night

June 14 was a night to remember as it was the first time Tiger Translate roared its way into KL. Tiger Translate transformed Kenanga City Mall into a venue by showing music, design and art, and more, making it undoubtedly the coolest thing ever!

That evening, Tiger Translate was jammed packed with hip, young and pumped up guests. And boy did Tiger Malaysia know how to bump up an event! Guests were first welcomed with a tunnel filled with live art installations, talented local graffiti artist, Kenji Chai created unique piece of Tiger Translate art within the tunnel.

In the venue itself, renowned local artists, Kickatomic’s Tsu Ann and Jaemy, Lynda Chean and Kenji Chai also featured master pieces of their own design of the Tiger Translate beer bottle sleeves! Consumers had a chance to have a go at it….  however if spray painting isn’t a thing for you, Lynda Chean of Pink tattoo made sure there were plenty of radical temporary tattoo designs you could experiment with.

As you venture further into the venue itself, you will see massive trampolines at the Translate Jump Station where you could capture your jumps against the enormous Translate logo!

Local indie music enthusiasts were in for a treat as they rocked the night away with five amazing acts from both local and international music scene, Indiego & Co, Mad August, OJ Law, Chochukmo, Manic Sheep and the headliners – Editors!

Manic sheep pumping up the crowd’s energy level

Chochukmo rocking the stage!

*Gasps!* It’s Tom Smith, the lead vocalist of Editors!

Party goers were left in awe when Editors took over the stage. Adding to the combination of a high energy crowd, ice cold Tiger beer and Tom Smith, that pretty much sums up Tiger Translate’s highlight of the night.

Tiger Translate left an impressionable memory for all party going attendees. Lucky for us, this is the first of many creative collaborations between music and art by Tiger Malaysia. Check out www.facebook.com/TigerBeerMY and be the first to hear about upcoming Tiger events!
