#Churpremiere – Cinderella

   Category: Churpremiere | 74 Comments

We have all, once upon a time, loved and believed in Cinderella – Disney’s darling heroine. A tale of hope, perseverance, and courage peppered with some TLC from mice and bird friends, with just that touch of bippity boppity boo magic.

Churpers, relive your childhood Disney memories and alongside Cinderelly, believe once again in courage, kindness and magic with Disney’s most memorable heroine in the #Churpremiere of Cinderella.

Cinderella Payoff Poster Msia

The story of “Cinderella” follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother.

Keen to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother Lady Tremaine and her daughters Anastasia and Drisella into the family home.

But, when Ella’s father suddenly and unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family, relegated the role of a servant girl and spitefully renamed Cinderella.

Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother’s dying words and to “have courage and be kind.” She will not give in to despair nor despise those who abuse her.

And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. It appears as if her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball.

Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. But, as in all good fairy tales, help is at hand as a kindly beggar woman steps forward and, armed with a pumpkin and a few mice, changes Cinderella’s life forever.

Watch the trailer below and be transported back to a time when you used to believe in fairy tales, hope and magic again! The kid in all of us would want you to click.

Cinderella moment? Hmm… I guess that would be the day that after working with a couple of busybody ladies in the same office who liked to gossip and then prod about my life while making sure I don’t get any work done and telling everyone else I may not be doing my work, those ladies were found to be themselves slacking off and not only that have been spreading unsigned memos supposedly ‘revealing’ the bad habits of other employees. I was jumping with joy when i heard that one was unceremoniously fired and the other transferred to a branch way away from any big town. I know i didn’t get a raise or anything but hey at least those two ‘step-sisters’ are no longer around. HAHAHAHA!! P.s. I didn’t have anything to do with them leaving… Not that I’d tell you…

  • Tan Yune Lynn says:

My Cinderella moment is when I was young, I have always been bullied by guys and from that moment onwards, I hated boys. As I grew older, I tend to love them even more but always been treated without respect and some of them turn down my love towards them. After I have started working, I met my prince charming. He takes care of me, love me very much and he is now staying with me. He is my forever after. Just like cinderella. After all her hardships, she finally married her prince charming.

  • My cinderella moment was a little kiddish embarrassing. I remembered I was in my end of kindergarden year,on the way to my class and there he was, waiting at the stairs with a petal of rose, looking smart and cute with his little bowtie. It was my birthday and my mom planned a birthday party for me. I was very shy and I know after our graduation from kindergarden,I’m not going to see him anymore. That feeling was really sweet yet memorable.

Cinderella moment ? When my mom was reading me the Cinderella story during bed times over & over again #truestory

  • Peicheen says:

Like Cinderella, I too Leave one of my shoes on the train platform while running to catch the train.

  • i do not come from a rich family. Im not smarter anyway. But one day, when i met this one guy, everything changed. He gave me the courage to be successful in life. He always support me, cheer me up and he treated me like im his princess. Ive never been showered by so much love and wealth. I felt like a cinderella. Im so grateful that i met him. Meeting him is like a dream comes true.

  • Nazly says:

My ‘Cinderella’ moment would be I’ve met my Malaysian celebrity crush, Nazim Othman & took photo with him. I was stunted & didn’t say a word. Lucky my sister helped me to talked with him. Otherwise it would be awkward. Definitely one of the best moments in my life!

My Cinderella moment was when I’ve been voted as one of the best dresser during my company annual dinner. Definitely the best feeling ever to receive such honor.

  • Kent Han Seung says:

Last Friday, I was partying hard with my buddies at Bukit Bintang. We drank so much and we were so drunk. And just before the clock strikes 12, I remembered that I forgot about the grocery my mum asked for. I rushed off and be home without one of my shoes on and you all know how the story goes. #mycinderellamoment

  • Sasithorn says:

Cinderella never fail to remind me of one of my high school moment.
Back then I was a “Running man”, doing my daily running routine around school compound. And one day, while passing by the school’s football field where all the Handsomes are playing futsal, suddenly the ball rolled towards my direction. Without hesitation, I kicked the ball so confidently and hard that my shoe flew away together with the ball into the air. LOL. Omg omg omg, I was sooo embarrassed and how I wished I could dig a hole and hide my face at that very moment! ><

Cinderella moment ? Well, frankly say I think I never had that moment yet in my whole life until now. I guess God still keep it from reveal too early for me. I bet I will get that moment one day. I wish my Cinderella moment will be on my wedding day, when my prince charming take a vow to get married with me. I pray n I wish I’ll get that moment before I go away from this world.

  • Natalie Sim says:

My Cinderella moment happened in many few consecutive occasions whereby whenever I had a bad hair day, somehow something good happens that turns the entire situation around & everything all churpie & good. For example, if I had cravings for dessert but did not mention it out to anyone, suddenly someone would buy me a cheesecake or give me chocolates. When work seems to go overboard, somehow, someone dear would give me a call & say things cheering me up & making me laugh again. There are many more reasons & all these adds up to making me feel like I’m living in a fairy tale life!

  • Aliza Sara says:

My Cinderella moment happened way back during senior highschool. It was like any ordinary prom, but the difference was the company. I went there with my friends since we didnt want to miss out with all the fun. And to be honest, i was hoping someone would ask me out to the dance floor when the slow dance was on. Halfway through, no one really came to me to ask me for a dance but when the song ended, lights were all on stage. And this guy was standing there, apoplogizing to the girl he liked for not asking her to dance with me, but only cause he was too nervous. And out of the blue, he called out for my name to ask me if i was around? And everyone had to push me to the most front part of the stage where he confessed and told me that he couldnt keep his eyes off me that night, followed by a song called “falling in love with you” by Elvis. It felt like a dream came true cause i was secretly his crush for about a year and a half. It would be nice to be able to attend the #Churpremiere of Cinderella with him on the 4th of March of 2015 *wink

My cinderella moment is I have curfew when I was young, so I need to rush back before midnight strikes.

  • farara says:

Cinderella moment? You mean the bad moment or the good one? If the bad moment is when i always get bullied at work last time. Just because SHE thinks that i did better job than her and everyone likes me just because i’m pretty. Duh? It’s a moment i wish i don’t want to remember at all. The good one? I’m still waiting for my Fairy godmother. I’ve been very busy this past week and i haven’t had much time for the things i enjoy and want to do most. i’m hoping that my Fairy Godmother read this and will turn me into Cinderella for just one night on my birthday! Where are you my Fairy Godmother? 🙁

  • Vivien Ng says:

Wasn’t having good experience in the past relationship and not expecting too much when I met my boyfriend. But ever since I met him, I am having my Cinderella moment almost everyday! I am treated and taken care well without having to worry about anything! And don’t mention about celebrations and surprises! He always managed to surprise me with the gifts that I longed for. Knowing him and fell in love with him makes me feel so loved and contented with my life now.

  • Lim Ching Mun says:

Three years ago, my bf and I went out for a movie on our first date. During the mid of the movie, I just happened to turn and look at him; and that was when both of our eyes met, so closely, and then he came even closer and kissed me on the lips. I wasn’t expecting that so I had goosebumps all over my body, a sense of sugar rush and feeling shy at the same time! Then I realised, I just had my first kiss! LOL!

Now, three years later, I can still feel a pinch of sweetness whenever I think back. This may sound a bit cliché for others but then for me, that’s my Cinderella moment I had in my life 🙂

  • Melissa Ng says:

The one Cinderella moment I’ve had was, once, at a house party, I had my charmbracelet on and unbeknownst to me, one of the charms had fallen off. I was about to leave when a stranger approached me to ask if it was my charm. Turns out, it was! He’s no Prince Charming to me but we’re good friends to this day and still laugh about that night.

  • Tang Li Vian says:

There’s a few Cinderella moments in my life. For instance, when I was talking to my pet hamster or fish, thinking that they will understand everything that I said to them, and also when I left one side of my PU material heels somewhere else and never seen it since then.

  • Jason Chew says:

    Cinderella moments. Hmm…
On the first date, I always make sure to send the girl home before the stroke of midnight else my Proton Persona will turn back into a pumpkin and I’ll turn back into a house mice. 🙂

  • Wai Cheong says:

After playing ball with the boys,it rained so heavy till the roads were flooded. As I was crossing the road, the current of the water was so strong till it swooped my right slipper off my foot (coincidentally the same side Cinderella lost her glass slipper).
I did see that slipper again a week later washed by the side of the road. And it answered a question I always asked myself: “Why the heck are there always slippers in the middle of the road?”

  • Then the youngest guessed that it’s referred to as a jumper as a result of they always played hop scotch within the “days of modest clothes”.
